

George Shilling is holding a course at Bank Cottage Studios on the 11th September covering Real-World Mixing in Pro Tools 8 HD techniques in a unique one day workshop.

As well as covering the technical aspects, George will cover the processes he uses in the real world to achieve great mixes by the most direct route, plus an introduction to mastering techniques
George has previously lectured at SAE Oxford, and at University of Westminster, Leeds Met and Plymouth University in association with J.A.M.E.S.

There will be plenty of opportunity for Q&A and George will divulge secrets and tips that enable you to achieve terrific results. He will explain decision making and techniques to quickly get things to really cook in your mix!
Some knowledge of Pro Tools would be useful/expected

I wish I were there to be able to take this. Looks great at a good price. Am in Canada though. Might you consider a UStream or Skype version of the lecture/demo some time?
It looks like the location of this may be moving to Dublin! I will post any updates as they come in.
