A new recording facility is opening on January 1st in Tblisi (Georgia, close to the borders with Turkey) based around music production (SSL Duality console, Protools HD3, ATC monitors, humungous live room etc), Mastering (Maselec, System 6000 etc) and Film dubbing/mixing.
A chief engineer is required to supervise sessions and train staff for an initial one year period. The salary is pretty rubbish ($2000/month) but accomodation and expenses provided in addition to a very cheap cost of living. Two paid holidays with flights to the UK (or wherever you are based) and plenty of “perks”. The ideal candidate will have significant professional experience in a leading facility and will be a major force in the Georgian and Russian music, film and television industries.
