Way up in North Wales, George Shilling tracked ace producer Dave Eringa at Bryn Derwen Studios and fired the questions that ranged from serious to ‘curved ball’…. We hope that you enjoy this video as much as we enjoyed meeting Dave, a true great guy and bound to be ‘mega producer’ one day! So, who is Dave Eringa? That’s what we were at Bryn Derwen to find out. Dave is one of the names that we hear mentioned all the time but for some reason hadn’t met him so we were relieved to find that he is one of the most entertaining and talented producers that we’ve yet found.

Top metal record producer Andy Sneap was working at his studio in Derbyshire when we popped in with the cameras to record an in-depth video interview about recording, production and metal bands. George Shilling asked the questions and as the interview contains so much ‘interesting stuff’ we kept it all in so boil the kettle and settle in front of your internet appliance and enjoy 50 minutes of Andy Sneap.

Tony Faulkner is one of Europe’s best known orchestral recording engineers and we are delighted to at long last, after many years of trying, bring an interview with Tony talking about his mic placement techniques. We met up with Tony at his house and sat down in the kitchen to chat. George Shilling fired the questions.
