Right Track Studios video features
With Frank Filepetti and Bary Bongiovi

A fantastic series of broadband video interviews recorded at Right Track Recording Studios are now here - with more planned. This unique series starts off with two of the industries leading figures talking about the recording studios and the industry.

Right Track Studios - watch the special video interviews Located on New York's famous music street - 168 West 48th - Right Track Studios were founded in 1976 by studio owner and pioneer, Simon Andrews. Power Station and industry veteran Barry Bongiovi, Right Track's General Manager joined forces with Andrews in 1995 and this combining of reputations, talent, and experience has brewed a strong formula for success.

Pictured above are Bary Bonjiovi and Frank Filipetti who talk on camera about the studios and the industry. We think that this is one of the most interesting interviews on the site so fire up your broadband connection and play the videos. These are streamed in the Real Player format.

Video Two - Additional interview at Right Track Studios.

Bongiovi attributes the studio's success in maintaining such a diverse client list to their technical and production staff, Andrews's ability to anticipate industry trends, and Right Track's overall atmosphere and approach. "There's no pretension here, we just do the job - regardless of who the client is," says Bongiovi. By anticipating needs and keeping maintenance extremely high, Right Track strives to make the studio the creative environment it should be, "We want our clients to come in and do what they came here to do - make records....and hopefully, successful ones."

With a stack of hits to the studios credit the facilities attract some of the very best established and up and coming artists. Acoustically, Right Track Studios is fabulous. All of the studios were designed with ensemble recording in mind, as evidenced by the exceptional sight lines between the four spacious isolation booths that dot Studio A's large main room, the 21-foot ceilings in Studio C, and the gargantuan live room in Studio A509. Yet Right Track is quite capable of creating a comfortable, intimate atmosphere, which many of the world's leading vocalists have used to create masterpieces.

Very special thanks to everyone at Right Track Studios for their kind help in assisting this series and extra special thanks to Johnny Jaskot who produced and edited this series!
