Allerdyce earned his solid background first at Schnee
Studios then at Ocean Way in Los Angeles where he worked
with legendary producers/artists like: Glyn Johns,
Arif Mardin, Jim Steinman,
Nile Rodgers, Pat Leonard, Richard Perry, Lenny Waronker,
Michael Beinhorn, and Marcus Miller.
Ken’s engineering career began when he worked with Roger Hodgson on his two solo albums. Recent Credits include: Ken recorded Goo Goo Doll's current release on Warner Bros., "Gutterflower" produced by Rob Covallo and Goo Goo Dolls, debuted at #4 in The Billboard 200, last week of April 2002. Ken recorded Green Day’s "Nimrod," and “Warning” cd's for Reprise and engineered Weezer’s “Weezer 2001 (Green)” cd for Interscope with producer Ric Ocasek. He recorded debut artists Tsar on Hollywood Records & recorded and mixed Curt Close’s cd for Warner France.He recently helped his friend producer Eric Valentine on some tracks for Good Charlotte's new album on Epic/Sony. Ken was recently in the studio producing the legendary band, Yardbirds and mixing and producing several tracks for singer/songwriter Zoe Scott's debut on Zues Records.
