Ken
Allerdyce earned his solid background first at Schnee
Studios then at Ocean Way in Los Angeles where he worked
with legendary producers/artists like: Glyn Johns,
Arif Mardin, Jim Steinman,
Nile Rodgers, Pat Leonard, Richard Perry, Lenny Waronker,
Michael Beinhorn, and Marcus Miller.
Credits include: Fleetwood Mac (“Time”
album), Lindsey Buckingham, Stevie Nicks/Lindsey Buckingham
“Twisted” from the movie Twister;
Kara’s Flowers, “The Fourth World;”
Johnny Halliday (live in Las Vegas) ; Rod Stewart (tracks
and strings) on “Faith of the Heart” with
Guy Roche for the movie “Patch Adams”; Supertramp’s
“It was the Best of Times” recorded live
at the Royal  Albert
Hall, London ’97. He recorded Green Day’s
“Nimrod” cd in ’97 and Goo Goo Dolls
“Dizzy Up The Girl” cd in ’98.As a
musician, Ken played guitar in London bands (Chris de
Burgh among others) before his friends in Supertramp
wooed him to work for them as they embarked on a world
tour in the late 70’s. Ken ended up in sunny
California where for the next ten years he brought his
technical expertise during two live shows for Supertramp,
Eric Clapton, Yes and Gary Newman.
Ken’s
engineering career began when he worked with Roger Hodgson
on his two solo albums. Recent Credits include: Ken
recorded Goo Goo Doll's current release on Warner Bros.,
"Gutterflower" produced by Rob Covallo and Goo
Goo Dolls, debuted at #4 in The Billboard 200, last
week of April 2002. Ken recorded Green Day’s
"Nimrod," and  “Warning”
cd's for Reprise and engineered
Weezer’s “Weezer 2001 (Green)” cd
for Interscope with producer Ric Ocasek. He recorded
debut artists Tsar on Hollywood Records & recorded
and mixed Curt Close’s cd for Warner France.He
recently helped his friend producer Eric Valentine on
some tracks for Good Charlotte's new album on Epic/Sony.
Ken was recently in the studio producing the legendary
band, Yardbirds and mixing and producing several tracks
for singer/songwriter Zoe Scott's debut on Zues Records.
