The recording space at Modern World is very impressive and sounds fantastic. Modern World Studios is a world-class studio in one of the UK’s most pleasant locations situated in a 3000 sq ft warehouse in the picturesque Cotswold town of Tetbury, Gloucestershire, 100 miles West of London. Modern World features a naturally lit 460 sq ft live room rising to a height of 14 ft and has a spacious control room. Key equipment includes a 48 Channel SSL Duality Console, Main stereo and 5.1 surround monitoring is provided by Exigy, Quested S7’s nearfields, projector and White Mark acoustic screen, DigiDesign Pro Tools HD3 7.3.1 with huge plug-in range, Logic Pro and Ableton Live Large range of hi-end outboard eqs, compressors, mic pres and reverb including Bricasti, Chandler, Cranesong, Focusrite, Thermionic Culture Vulture, TRP....

There's a large mic collection including AEA, AKG, Audio Technica, Audix, Beyer Dynamic, Blue Bottle, DP, EV, Rode, SE Electronics and Soundelux. Also there is an extensive 45 guitar collection including Fender, Gibson, Rickenbacker, Taylor, Takemine and lots of guitar effects plus an extensive amp range including Vox, Mesa Boogie, Marshall, Bose, Gallien Krueger, Fender, Orange and Ampeg.

There are two drum kits, a Yamaha Oak Custom and Roland TD20, Yamaha upright U3S piano and other instruments plus a good supply of spare strings, drum skins and guitar tuners.

A separate Pro Tools Pro Control Editing Suite is also available in addition to the large lounge with viewing gallery to live room including cinema, pool table, darts board, Simpsons Pinball, Arcade Mania, pop-corn maker and fully fitted kitchen, bathroom and shower, fully fitted gymnasium!

Accommodation is also available at extra cost but included in the rate is an engineer/Assistant. We really like this studio and think that it is a great place to work, excellent atmosphere, good rates and very well equipped. You should pay them a visit!
