Oxygen Studio - Small but nice recording studio feature
Oxygen Studio is a small but able studio based in Birmingham run by producer Stuart Evans, half of the Evans Martin production team. We hope to have a short video feature here soon.
As you can see from the pictures, Oxygen isn't a mega studio, it's not trying to be one. It offers a comfortable and clean space to record and mix offering a nice range of equipment, microphones and editing and mixing systems. Production help is always available and the work that we heard show that studios such as Oxygen can produce astounding results.

Richard Rainey is an Irish record producer/mixer. Currently London based he has just finished producing the debut album for Irish band Vesta Varro.
Richard Rainey won 3 Grammys for his work on the 11 million selling U2 album 'All That You Can’t Leave Behind'. Winning Record of the year 2000 for “Beautiful Day”, Record of the Year 2001 for “Walk On” and Rock Album of the Year 2001. He continues to work with the band and regularly mixes their live TV and radio performances. Watch his exclusive video feature shot at Metropolis Studios, London.

Recording equipment, software and music shop
Since the site started in 1999 we have gradually narrowed down companies that we have confidence in putting forward. For new sound recording equipment, music software etc in our music shop we have found US on-line retailer zZounds to give a consistantly very good service and offers a genuine returns policy. This is very important if say you buy some speakers and they just don't sound right in your room.
