Nick Patrick's productions have sold 10's of millions in all genres including pop, classical, and world music. George Shilling met up with Nick at his Shine Studios in the countryside in Southern England to find out more about his secrets.

In recent years Nick has primarily focussed on establishing crossover Classical Music as a successful genre. He has produced forthcoming albums for Blake for UCJ and Teatro for Epic Records. Nick's most recent production is the forthcoming Russell Watson album People Get Ready.

Nick has worked with virtually every established crossover classical artist in recent years and his productions for Katherine Jenkins and Russell Watson both twice won album of the year at the Classical Brits, in the 9 year history of the Classical Brits Nick's productions have won the best album 7 times. Nick Patrick has also been nominated for a Grammy award in 2008 for his production of West Side Story.

Nick has also produced Hayley Westenra and the internationally successful Amici' for Sony/BMG. In conjunction with Giles Stanley, Nick has also developed and signed several artists to major labels.

Past highlights include Gypsy Kings - Este Mundo (2.75 million copies sold) and Mory Kante - Akwaba Beach (3 million copies sold).
