Stanley House Studios
Stanley
House Studios, based in West London, are one of the newest
studios in London. |
Set up by owner Andy Morris around 1990, the studio complex featured an SSL J Series room. It's proving
to be a very popular studio with many major artists such as Bjork working
there.
Since recording our brief tour the studio is now privately run with producers Hugh Padgham and Chris Porter being based in rooms at the studios. Scroll down for video links of both people's video interviews. |
ARCHIVE NOTES:
In addition to the SSL room, Stanley House
has a number of excellent Programming Rooms available for extended hire. The
rooms all feature natural daylight and have some unique qualities such as
screen- printed fabrics on the walls etc.
Relax in the very
comfortable studio bar, or, when the weather's ok, the roof terrace has a
great panoramic view of London. Give Brian a call to pay them a
visit!

These
videos will be updated in the near future. The
videos here feature the legendary Brian Gaylor
who was instrumental in the studios design. Very
sadly, Brian died in a flying accident early in
2003. We decided to keep these videos here as
a memory to his unique personality and to make
sure that he is not forgotten. We here at RecordProduction.com
will miss him greatly.
